Chris Knits - Original Designs by Chris Shield of Arizona
www.chrisknits.com
Chris Shield, a designer of hand-knitted one of a kind clothing and accessories, approached us with a need to improve the search engine optimization of her site. The current site was already submitted to major search engines and running PPC campaigns, but no metatags were written for better organic search ranking and positioning.

We researched other competitors optimization efforts and ran a keyword analysis of commonly used targeted keywords. Based on the results, we implemented metadata on her site for better search engine performance and submitted a Google sitemap.

Work time for this project was 5 hours. To view the .pdf report and overview, click here.

Kona Surf Adventures
www.konasurfadventures.com
My newest client for 08'! Kona Mike approached me for assistance with the management and maintenance of his site. Since he lived in Hawaii, he had a local company develop and design his site, but needed someone affordable to market and maintain it.

Currently, I'm making minor changes to his site at a low hourly fee, on an as needed basis. I also submitted his site to several search engines, listings and requested reciprocal links. Next steps are to add Google Analytics links and other Google tracking tools to review how well the site performs. Since adding these features, he's had several new bookings and leads in 2 days!

Sea Hawaii Rafting
www.SeaHawaiiRafting.com
Sea Hawaii Rafting, located on Kailua-Kona on Hawaii's Big Island contacted me for help in driving traffic to their site. They already had a site done, but wasn't getting much interest and very little phone calls to their buisiness from people who found them online. They were a referred by two of my clients, and having seen the success on their sites, they contacted me for my expertise in helping them market and increase the their visibility online. I reviewed their site content, and got to work adding keyword rich content that visitors would use when searching for boat tours and vacation ideas in Hawaii. I also worked on registering their site on various free listing sites such as yelp.com, tripadvisor.com and more. In less then 2 weeks, the phones started ringing at their business from visitors who stumbled on their site after finding them on the internet. Web traffic continues to increase and more calls are flowing in from people who found them online!

UPDATE: In 2009, I was asked to redesign their website. For the new site, I used a template to utilize the gorgeous ocean pics they had and made it more attractive to wide -screen monitor users. We also expanded the number of pages they had by creating a new photo gallery. Also, during the redesign process, the new site allowed us to add more targeted keywords to help perform better in search engines. (Redesign in 2009)

Grasshopper Silk Studio
www.GrassHopperSilk.com
Grasshopper Silk Studio approached me to create a more updated site, as the artist & owner Sandy Hopper, was getting more recognition in her home state for the art she was exhibiting. Her old site was using Front Page and had alot of pages of content and products for showcasing. Using her old site as a guide, I created main navigation links for her products and used a widescreen hero graphic to showcase her art work. There is also subnavigation highlighting the artists bio, her exhibits and events and studio location. This was the first website I built with an online store. The shopping cart we used was through PayPal only, and was relativly easy to build and implement. This was also the first time I've applied an Ajax script to a site. The script worked out wonderfully creating a cool image gallery effect that showcased her beautiful hand painted designer wear collection.

The site took 2.5 weeks to built and another 1.5 weeks for site optimization. (Built in 2009)

Healing Hearts Jewelry
www.HealingHeartsJewelry.com
New Client for 2010! Healing Hearts Jewelry approached me looking for a website to help sell their one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry online. The owner and artist, Anne Dimit, wanted to expand her company online and was referred to one of my other clients. Her art concept is truly unique and inspiring. Most of her jewelry is made frm recycled glass. Also, any of her jewelry designed with a heart, 50% of the profits from that sale is donated to battered shelters to help women, men and children battling with domestic abuse. I created the site with soft pink colors and red colors to emphasize the heart in the name of the website. I also included alot of content on most of the site mentioning what the "Healing Hearts" symbol represented when purchasing those items and content about her recycling efforts in her products. The site was turned live August 2010.

ABarryParentPlay - Allyson Barry, Child/Family Therapist
www.abarryparentplay.com
New Client for 2010! This one was a fun one to build, because of the various colors & images I used. Allyson originally had a website built with Vista Print. The first thing I recommended here to do, was move her domain and hosting server to GoDaddy, so we can get her some great business tools like her own domain email address and other free tools GoDaddy.com offers. Her website was already filled with good content, so we utililized that, and made her 4 page website into 15+ pages with a photo/media gallery and Google Calendar which she can maintain on her own, since these are utilizing Flickr and Google Calendar scripts. We're also in the process of creating an online appointment form and payment through PayPal. The site took 2 weeks to complete. The site lanched October of 2010.
